Nancy Cupp Bio

photo of Nancy Cupp
Anderson University, B.A. degree in Visual Arts with minor in Education.

I taught high school art for three years and then pursued music for the next 25 years, singing with various night club bands, and later doing concerts in churches. I had my own singing telegram business for 22 years and became very well known all over NW. Ohio for my funny family entertainment.

While raising my family, running a singing telegram business, home schooling, singing in churches, etc. I had no place or time for painting, until my sons were grown and moved out.  I think I only painted two pictures while raising my family. Then in 2002, I started painting again.  It is like I just picked up where I left off and God is filling in the gaps and my knowledge and skills are getting better with each new project.

I hope that my art inspires you and shows you some of my thrill in studying the creation of God.  Now He's the real artist! When I look at nature, I see God's fingerprints all over it.  I enjoy painting things that bring me closer to The Creator, by observing and studying things made my Him.  Nature, flowers, people, animals, etc. are just a little glimpse of the majesty and glory of God. I hope that my art will point people to Jesus and the joy that is found in Him.

Col. 1:12 Giving thanks unto the Father, who made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light;
13 who delivered us out of the power of darkness, and translated us into the kingdom of the Son of his love;
14 in whom we have our redemption, the forgiveness of our sins: 15 who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation; 16 for in him were all things created, in the heavens and upon the earth, things visible and things invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers; all things have been created through him, and unto him;
17 and he is before all things, and in him all things consist.
