WISDOM original
22 X 30 inch Watercolor on Arches 300 lb. watercolor paper, black mat and black metal frame.
Detailed painting of an old Oak tree that grows along the side of the road as I drive to my son's home in the country. This old tree is around 300 years old and still living. It has seen a lot of history, back to the days of the Indians who used to live in this area of Ohio. This tree has become very special to me. It's spreading branches seem to stretch out forever. This tree is so huge that I couldn't fit it all inside the camera frame as I stood across the road to take the picture. I took several photos for reference, so I could paint it back at my studio. The land was too rough to try to paint it on site. It grows in Hancock County, Ohio. I plan on doing a series of paintings of it in various seasons. It is the most magnificent tree I have ever had the pleasure to meet. I call it my friend.

THE BROKEN VESSEL, Giclee prints

$
225.00
22 X 28 Giclee prints on stretched canvas. The sides are matching purple, so there is no need to frame them. They look great on the wall, as is.
Original in the collection of Bob and Bonnie Nietz and displayed in the Prayer Center of College Church of God, Findlay, Ohio.
other sizes available upon request
2 Corinthians 4:6* Seeing it is God, that said, Light shall shine out of darkness, who shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.
7* But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the exceeding greatness of the power may be of God, and not from ourselves. This painting was inspired by a vision I had in 2007 when I was asked to minister on my harp for a church. Everything was going wrong that day, but, as I prayed for God’s guidance, I asked him to use me as a vessel for his glory, even though I was a broken vessel at that. Immediately I saw a broken vase full of holes and cracks. God’s light was shining so brightly through the holes and cracks that I could barely see the vase. He is not looking for our so called perfection, but a humble and willing heart to share His compassion and love with others. In our weakness, He is made strong.

What others are saying about "The Broken Vessel"
Nancy:- GUESS WHAT…..THE PICTURES JUST ARRIVED IN THE MAIL.
I am thrilled with them, you did a marvelous work with this……you have no idea how you can minister to people through this painting. Thank you so much…they arrived in perfect condition!
You have got to really give this painting as much exposure as possible, it is very special. I believe there is a definite message in this and people need to know that God loves them and will work with us despite our shortcomings. After all He knows our hearts and He knows we blow it even though it may be unintentional. And He knows that we often listen to the negative messages that the enemy sends our way. I am praying for the Lord to place names on my heart for those that should have this print. Thanks again and thanks for your obedience in painting what you saw in the vision.
Blessings,
Judy Allen (from Canada)
I like the idea of the story that God uses a broken vessel to shine through. The very places that are broken, shine the most light. Like after he does His work in us, we have a story to share of what He did for us. Yes, it's beautiful because it offers hope.
That is such a touching story, wonderful picture to illustrate the point. I love the light coming out from the breaks in the vase/vessel. Wow, We are those broken but lit from the inside with the H.S. vessels for His glory. Very good to see and read the story. How wonderful that he takes the broken parts of us and shines through them! The very things we think mar us as vessels, He uses to shine through us. Just brings tears to my eyes.

"HIS SPLENDOR" original

$
600.00
36"X48" Acrylic on canvas. Original, registered at FAR with ID tag #34889 and comes with a certificate of authenticity. Not framed. Painted on the side edges. Staples along the sides, but, not noticible.
I was fascinated by how peacock feathers change colors in the lights. I tried to capture that by using irridescent paints that change in color as the viewer moves while looking at the painting from different angles.
Giclee prints available upon request.

"SON KISSED" original

$

11 x 14.5 Original watercolor on paper, matted and framed in a white frame.
Two sunflower plants came up by themselves in my front yard. They came from birdseed from a few years ago. I took a photo of one of the flowers and noticed that it really did have the shape of a heart in the center of it. The real flower wasn't quite as perfect a heart shape as the one I painted, but, artists are allowed to make it the way they want. Right? It just made me think of Jesus blowing kisses at us through his flowers, so I named it Son Kissed.
Giclee prints are available on canvas for $100.00.

"PINK A BOO" original

15 X 15 colored pencil on paper.
This was a real flower that I found somewhere, that was very tiny. I think it's bloom was less than an inch. It was almost unnoticeable. It had a unique shape and was so pretty. Nature has so many beautiful surprises that go unnoticed, except to those who stop and explore the beauty around us. I enlarged it, so others could see the little flower playing "peek a boo".

"WAITING TO BE BORN" original

$

22"X30" Watercolor on paper, matted, unframed.
I had nothing in mind as I began this painting. I was just exploring curved shapes and vivid colors, but, as I began to work on it, I noticed what looked like an unborn baby beginning to take shape in the pink part of the painting. With all the varied shapes, colors and little details, I thought of how each new life, waiting to be born is full of all sorts of unknown wonderful possibilities.

72 x 48 x 1 Acrylic painting with costume jewelry attached to the design. Gallery wrap canvas, unframed.
Framing not needed because it is painted along the sides. There are no staples on sides.
"I love the exploration of curved lines and shapes, with bold colors." This is a journey in the study of curved shapes and flowing lines.
This is a very large painting that would look great in a modern room. It also looks good hung vertically.
