Healing scriptures and harp music naturally go together. In Bible times, they called for harpists to play for the sick. When King Saul became ill, they called for a young shepherd boy named David who was skillful on the harp. 1 Samuel 16:14-23 David's anointed harp music soothed his troubled soul and healed him. Today, harp music is being recognized now for healing therapy around the world. Studies have shown that the vibrations of the harp help to "recalibrate" unhealthy cells back to health.
I've always had a compassion for those who are sick. In 1999 I made a special recording for people to listen to when they are ill. It is an hour of healing scriptures that are either read or sung by me. I play my harp in the background. After the healing scriptures, I added 16 minutes of instrumental harp music at the end of the album. The total time for the healing CD is an hour and 16 minutes with harp music throughout the recording. All of the music was recorded as it was being created, unrehearsed and spontaneously done after prayer and seeking God's anointing.

Nancy's harp
Nancy's Atara nevel harp was made in Jerusalem by the House of Harrari, who are believed to be the first Jewish harp makers back in Israel since Bible times. Micah Harrari and his wife moved from America to Israel to fulfill their destiny, making Biblical style harps. When a noted rabbi visited their shop, with tears in his eyes, he asked them if they knew the significance of their harps. He said that according to ancient writings, when the harps were made again in Israel, the Messiah would come.
