This was my first published cover art. The publisher didn't give me much information to go on and only about a week to work on it from start to finish. On top of that, I was really sick with the flu, but, I got it done. The publisher manipulated the artwork, because the girl's face was too old for the age of the heroine. Compare the original with the finished one. My colors were a lot brighter than the finished one. It wasn't my best work, but, I thought you'd find it interesting to see how artists change over time. I'm a work in progress.

"TABITHA" unpublished children's book written by a 13 year old girl
This was done in colored pencil.
A gentleman from Australia asked me to illustrate a book written by a 13 year old girl. He sent me the manuscript and I began illustrating it. This was the story of a young girl who lived during the time of Jesus. In this scene, she just heard that her cousin had been raised from the dead, and she was running to his house to visit him and hear the news. The funds fell through to get it published, so this is as far as it got.
