'Praise Him From The Heavens'
Every painting has a storyThis is a painting I did during worship services at my church. I also did another painting before this one called The Shofar, which could be it’s twin, although not identical twins. I had the rapture in mind as I was painting it, but, it could be for anytime actually.
It is hard for us to really grasp what is going on in the heavenly realm, at any given time, yet angels are real, and worship God continually. When we truly worship the Lord, the angels join in too. They rejoice when one sinner repents and is born into the kingdom of God. “Likewise, I say unto you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repents.” Luke 15:10. We are all called to join the angels in worshipping the King of the universe, our heavenly Father and Creator. Our hearts leap for joy as we truly praise and worship the King of all Kings and Lord of all Lords. “Praise the LORD! Praise the LORD from the heavens! Praise him from the skies!” Psalm 148:1 “Praise the LORD, you his angels, you mighty ones who do his bidding, who obey his word.” Psalm 103:20 “For great is the Lord and most worthy of praise; he is to be feared above all gods.” Psalm 96:4 |
